Hello everyone and welcome to my little corner of Deviant art.

I guess I'll get started right away with the the purpose of this journal.

I work as a security officer at a job where a lot is asked of you I  return for very little pay. Its a job i cannot tolerate but have to for finavial reasons. My dream job is to draw for a living and if I continue to do nothing with my artwork in terms of finding work I feel that my dream will pass me by.

I've had bad experiences in the past with people asking for a peice of artwork and then never paying up. I did work with someone o. A childrens book when i was younger with gar less skill. It was fun, my first paying job but looming at it now im embarressed by the quality of work.

Because of those two things and maybe something else I am reluctant to put myself out there. I would love nothing more than to have a career in the arts but I feel I'll never meet anyone's expectations or I'll never get paid.

You can see from my recent posts that I have improvemed greatly when comoared to my older ones. Do you guys feel I possess enough skill make money off of my artwork? I mean am I good enough to ask people for money in return for custom artwork?

What can or should I do to get myself out there and on the right path to finding my dream job?

I would love to hear from all of you and welcome all opinions both good or bad.
